How does this ability work?
After declaring their movement path but before actually moving, Skirmishers may shoot. (The game will lookahead to see if your declared path will actually result in movement, ignoring all triggered abilities but considering all ongoing effects.) Alternately, Skirmishers may shoot when they enter a new location during basic movement. They get one shot total during their basic movement, regardless of how far they move. Note that basic movement includes movement from a basic ability, i.e. Move and Attack, and Defend.
