What does 'When the star falls' mean?
At the end of each of your turns, during step 1 of the end phase, add a counter to Falling Star. When you add the third counter, you immediately summon a minion and resolve the rest of this effect, then dispel Falling Star.
If my summoned minion has a genesis effect, does the genesis resolve before the strike?
Yes, resolve the genesis first, including any deathrites. Then, the 'strike each other unit' effect resolves.
Are the strikes against other units all simultaneous?
Yes.
