It was never summoned to a site, so it's free to roam around the realm! (Unless it was summoned to The Void site, in which case its restriction applies normally!)
If Castle Haunt leaves its summoning site and doesn't immediately die, what happens?
It's free to roam around the realm! This could happen because the Castle Haunt is silenced or disabled as soon as it leaves its summoning site, or because it survives via a Ward upon leaving. If it ever returns to its summoning site, its ability will apply again if it tries to leave again.
