How does this ability work?
The Abomination takes damage as if it is one unit, but the player causing the damage can choose which part or parts of the Abomination it applies to (after damage reduction, if any). Once a part has enough damage assigned to kill it, it's removed. When the last part of the Abomination is destroyed, so is the Abomination. For example, I have an Abomination with 5 + 4 + 3 power, and you are dealing it 7 damage from a Major Explosion. You can assign 3 and 4 damage, destroying those parts, and it's left with 5 power. Alternately, if it were my own Major Explosion, I could assign 3 damage to the 5-power part, and 3 damage to the 4-power part, and 1 to 3- part. It's left with 5+4+3 , with some on each of those parts (which will be removed normally at end of turn). If an effect would destroy or the Abomination outright, including taking , all of its parts are killed. If an effect would banish the Abomination, all of it is .
