Magic can't target the card and the card can't be damaged by Magic (even without targeting). The card can still be targeted by non-Magic effects.
Can Magic spells which cause an ally to target a unit (e.g. Shatter Strike) select the bearer of Amulet as the target?
Yes, because the ally is doing the targeting, not the Magic spell.
